Why Isn't My OF Content Reuploading After Deletion?

Hi, I'm kinda freaking out right now because I went on my OF to see that a bunch of my content has been removed. No warnings or anything. It's all ...

TLDR

I've seen this exact panic post a dozen times: content gone, no email, uploads silently failing. Before you do anything, you need to figure out which of three things happened - and almost none of us take the right first step.

Were you actually hacked, or is the platform just being the platform?

A username with one letter missing feels like a smoking gun, but honestly, it isn't. Automated moderation and display-name resets can change how your handle appears, and platform bugs do dumb things to accounts every week. Here's how I'd actually triage it. Compromise leaves other fingerprints: check your email (the real inbox, and spam) for notifications about logins, password changes, or email changes you didn't make. Check your payout details - if those got touched, that's serious and you treat it as a full breach. Review active sessions and linked devices. If all of that looks clean, you're more likely looking at automated enforcement or a glitch than a hacker. "No warning email" also isn't evidence of anything - plenty of removals happen with notices that land in spam or never send at all.

Why won't your reuploads just... reupload?

This is the part that trips everyone up. Platforms run hash-matching on files that were previously removed. If a video got flagged and taken down, uploading the exact same file often produces no error, no rejection notice - it just never shows up in your vault. So the missing video you keep retrying isn't proof of a hack; it's usually proof the file was flagged. And here's the hard part: every repeated reupload attempt can read as evasion and escalate enforcement against your account. Stop reuploading. One file failing is a flag; your entire library vanishing at once is more likely a bug or an account-level action, and neither is fixed by hammering the upload button. Save your energy for a proper support ticket instead.

So what do you actually do right now, in order?

Secure first: change passwords, enable 2FA, kick any unfamiliar sessions. Document second: screenshot everything before it changes - your post count before and after, the removed content timeline, the altered username, any error states. Third, check email including spam for enforcement notices you missed. Fourth, file one clear, evidence-backed support ticket with timestamps, a list of the removed content, and your screenshots - one good ticket beats ten panicked ones, and note the ticket ID. Then you wait, which sucks, because response times vary wildly and no one can promise restoration. Some content comes back with an appeal; some doesn't. Manage your expectations accordingly.

What happens the next time something breaks?

Because there will be a next time - whether it's a bug, a flag, or a lockout, your vault is never a real backup. Keep encrypted copies of your originals off-platform, organized before you upload, ideally watermarked. If you're also building out live content, I'd put my energy into somewhere more predictable like xlovecam rather than betting everything on one platform's moderation bot. And going forward: two-factor on everything, payout details checked weekly, and a real read of the content policy so you know which lines trigger silent removals. Once you've filed that ticket and secured the account - what's your actual restorable-vault situation looking like?
