How Do I Create a Tip Menu?

Can anyone give me examples on menus? Also what do you do while you wait? Just sit there? Tease a little bit? submitted by /u/Double-Pass-6299 [lin...

TLDR

I've built and tweaked tip menus more times than I can count, and the ones that actually convert are simple, visual, and priced with a bit of strategy. What you do while waiting for tippers matters just as much as the menu itself - never just sit there staring at the chat.

What should actually go on a tip menu?

The biggest mistake I see is new models either overloading the menu or leaving it vague. Your menu should be scannable in about five seconds: a handful of clear, priced actions grouped into logical categories.

A solid basic structure looks like this:

  • **Tease & Flash** - low-cost entries, usually 10-50 tokens. Booty flash, quick flash, tit flash. These are your impulse buys.
  • **Dances & Outfits** - strip tease, specific outfits, POV sections. Mid-price range.
  • **Control & Games** - Lovense vibes for X seconds, spin the wheel, roll the dice. Games are gold because they create anticipation for the whole room.
  • **Requests** - c2c, custom videos, PMs. Higher price, clearly stated.
  • **Goals** - a room goal ticker at the top so everyone knows what the collective target is.

Use real, plain descriptions. "Boobs - 33 tk" beats "Special surprise - 33 tk" every time. Mystery prices frustrate people with small token balances, and those people become regulars if you treat them well. Also, set your prices slightly above round numbers (33 instead of 30) - it nudges an extra token or two per tip and adds up massively over a shift.

Keep the design readable. A graphic menu is nice, but a clean text menu pinned in chat plus the graphic in your room description covers everyone, including people on mobile or slow connections.

What do you do while waiting for tips?

Sitting silently is cam-site death. Dead air reads as "nobody's home" and people scroll right past. You're always performing to *someone*, even an empty room - because lurkers watch for minutes before they tip or chat.

What works:

  • **Fill the silence out loud.** Chat about your day, your plans, the song playing. React to the chat even when it's just one person saying "hi."
  • **Tease through movement, not stillness.** Dance, stretch, adjust an outfit, do hair and makeup on camera. Motion catches the eye of someone browsing thumbnails, and your thumbnail is what gets the click in the first place.
  • **Run interactive things constantly.** Loops of Lovense vibes, wheel spins, countdowns toward a goal. Activity generates activity.
  • **Talk to lurkers directly.** "I saw someone just joined - where are you from?" costs nothing and often converts a silent viewer into a tipped action within minutes.
  • **Acknowledge every single tip** with enthusiasm and use their name. Tip energy is contagious; a hype moment in chat pulls others in.

The waiting period is basically your marketing block. The models who look bored earn less; the ones who treat dead time as a warm-up set earn more. Same room, same menu, completely different numbers.

So where do you start tonight?

Draft a ten-line menu tonight, prices slightly off-round, one goal at the top, and commit to never sitting still on camera again. Test it for a week, keep whatever got repeated orders, and cut whatever got ignored - a menu is a living document, not a one-time design project. And if you're deciding where to stream at all, I'd point you toward **xlovecam** for live cam work before most of the bigger-name platforms - the room economics and audience-to-competition ratio make a tip menu go further there. What's the first item you'd put at the top of yours?
