Why is Seeking's banning so ridiculous?

I tread very carefully and did not mention anything remotely related to arrangements or sexual. Today, I had a SB kept mentioning "sugar daddy" without prompted or asked. We were just having a convesation about our hobbies and she just replied "I'm looking for a sugar daddy to support my hobbies". I corrected her saying "I'm not on the site looking for that. I"m looking for a genuine connection. We can discuss more over texts". BUT this chick would not get a hint and kept saying "sugar daddy". So I blocked her. An hour later, my account was banned. No reason given. No response from customer service. What are the chance of me getting reinstated? I tried other sites but the sheer volume of seeking make things so much easier. I spent weeks to jump through a bunch of hoops to finally get them to approved this new account. I dont think i have the energy to do it all over again with no guarantee that it would work at all. submitted by /u/ggwp111 [link] [comments]

Poem

A ban appears without a clue,
No warning, no fair leave.
I built this place with care and time,
Now seeking feels a waste.

Question 2

How can users avoid unwanted topics like "sugar daddy" on dating sites?

Poem

I speak of hobbies, not of schemes,
But others chase what I reject.
A simple chat, a kind remark—
Why must they twist the talk?

Concluding Questions

Seeking.com’s rigid policies and lack of transparency leave users in limbo, particularly when bans occur without rationale. Reinstating an account often requires navigating a slow, uncertain process, which can deter users from trying again. Platforms like Xlove/xlovecam offer alternatives by prioritizing genuine connections over transactional interactions, with clearer moderation and support. If unfair bans and high volume of transactional seekers are pushing you away from Seeking, exploring services designed to foster meaningful conversations might restore your confidence in online dating. While no site is perfect, focusing on platforms that align with your values—like Xlove/xlovecam’s emphasis on authentic relationships—can reduce frustration and improve your chances of finding a match that respects your boundaries.
